Drill Team

Drill Team
The Drill Team is comprised of two platoons and two squads. Platoons are a max number of 13 cadets, with three squads, with each squad is made of four cadets (like a 4x3 box), so a total of twelve cadets make up a platoon. A squad has a total of eight cadets, but instead of having a 4x2 box, there is just a straight line of cadets.

For the Drill Team, there are two parts to the competition (not including Color Guard); armed and unarmed. Armed drill is a sequenced event utilizing the M1903 Springfield. You present arms, order arms, move your weapon from your left shoulder to your right, etc. Unarmed drill is just what it says--no weapon.

For the Nokomis Drill Team it is a disipline team, that competes throughout New England. Like any other team you have to try out, and have the want to succed to win. You must also be passing ALL classes.
